Biography:
Born in Columbus (Georgia), Mr. Lee’s practice focuses on criminal law, consumer and business litigation, class actions, appellate work, and personal injury. Mr. Lee’s background as a trained economist and statistician affords him a unique perspective on many legal issues such as wage discrimination, profiling, and civil rights violations. Prior to joining Hernan Taylor & Lee, Mr. Lee was an attorney in the Atlanta office of international law firm, King & Spalding, where he worked on a wide array of commercial finance matters and mass tort litigation.
Mr. Lee is a Hearing Officer for the City of Atlanta’s Office of Contract Compliance, a post he has held since his appointment in 2004.
Mr. Lee is also very active in the community, including his position on the Board of Directors for the Dekalb County Boys and Girls Club and his efforts in the Georgia Mock Trial Program at Therrell High School in Atlanta. Along with his partners, Jerome has been the recipient of the ACLU of Georgia’s Pro Bono Attorney Award and the Excellence in Legal Service Award presented by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF).
