Is it necessary to hire an attorney for a divorce case?
Hiring an attorney for your divorce process is not required by law, but legal representation is recommended in order to help to protect your rights. The majority of people filing for divorce do not use an attorney. Many courts provide forms and other information online. This information can be extremely useful; however, the process can be complicated and it is advisable to hire an attorney.
